We understand every person matters and has a fundamental need to belong, which is why Survivor Weekend exists. We do not reject participants from participating due to their race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. However, to ensure the safety of all participants and the theological convictions of Hope Christian Church, the following guidelines are in place for individuals who identify as a gender different from their biological sex at birth:
Sleeping arrangements will be handled uniquely for the duration of Survivor Weekend. You will be assigned your own tent, and may be accompanied by two trained Survivor Weekend counselors of the same biological sex as you for your care and that of our other guests.
